Booker agribusiness profits slide £7m


Operating profits at Bookers UK agribusiness fell from £10m to
£3m for the 24 weeks to June 14. The drop had been expected.


High feed prices damaged profits of its American poultry operations, Arbor
Acres Farm Group and Nicholas Turkey. Group pre-tax profits fell from £32.6m to £17.2m.
