CJD claims two more victims
NEW official figures show two people died of new variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) in May.
Figures from the CJD Surveillance Unit, in Edinburgh, shows 27 Britons have died of the disease linked to exposure to meat infected by bovine spongiform encephalopathy.
Four people have died this year.
