Costa Rica coffee crop to fall?

COSTA RICAS coffee crop is expected to fall 5.3% in 1998-99 against the previous year.

The crop has been hit by a drought with most of the losses being suffered in the famous Central Valley area. The countrys second largest producing area at Coto Brus is likely to see moderate growth of about 6.5% to just under 250,000 bags.
