Two men charged following seven farm fires
Two men are to stand trial charged with conspiracy to commit arson, following a string of farm fires in the Midlands.
The charges follow blazes on Sept 27 at five farms which involved over 2,000 tons of hay.
The farms were clustered on the Leicestershire, Rutland and Lincolnshire border.
The two men are jointly accused of starting seven fires. Both have been bailed to Leicester Crown Court on October 21.
