- French FOB spot wheat value: FFr 777.50 (£ 78.75)
- Chicago September wheat at close: $2.375 (£ 52.00)
THE UK futures market traded slightly higher as Sterling lost some of the weeks gains, but without consumer support and levels in excess of DM2.90, it is hard to find bullish news.
Chicago finished down, setting 21-year lows of £52/tonne. This roughly translates to an FOB price of $94/tonne – the same price as the EU.
