CATTLE from Cumbria breeder Arnold Thompson, well known for his heavy-yielding herd at Brampton, dominated the bidding at the Lakes Counties Jersey Cattle Breeders Club fixture at Carlisle.

The herds continual support of Danish breeding came through forcibly. The calved heifer Farlam March Dove 13th, by Farlam Danish Capo, made 820gns to T A Jackson, Biggar, Lanarks.
