SHADOW Agriculture Minister Tim Yeo has admitted that he has smoked cannabis – and enjoyed the experience.

Mr Yeo is the eighth Tory frontbencher to confess to pot-smoking since shadow Home Secretary Ann Widdecombe pledged a zero-tolerance drug policy last week.

But Mr Yeo was the first senior politician to admit that he enjoyed his youthful experiment with marijuana, saying it was more pleasant than drinking too much.

“I found it agreeable,” he told The Times
