Eat for Britain, readers urged

NEARLY 1m national magazine and regional newspaper readers each week are being asked to eat for Britain.

farmers weekly and leading producer-run meat initiative Farmers First has joined forces with Horse&Hound, Country Life and the leading regional newspaper Western Morning News to promote the sale of light lambs.

Readers are being asked to buy whole or half lambs which will be delivered directly to their door by courier. Each order will include a donation to the ARC Addington Fund which is providing emergency financial help to those hit by the foot-and-mouth crisis.
