Help fly the flag for British food with British Food Fortnight

Help fly the flag for British food. Here’s your £10m opportunity to generate extra sales of food and drink during British Food Fortnight which takes place between 24 Sept and 9 Oct.

The Farmers Weekly Group wants your help to persuade the public that buying British food offers great taste and health benefits. Plus, it helps to safeguard the great British countryside and the future of farmers in whose care it rests.

Simply download the free poster Are You Eating It? (pdf) and display it in a prominent place around your farm.

And why not down load more copies and arrange for them to be displayed in your local doctor’s or dentist’s surgery?

The more people who see the poster (pdf), the greater the chance of boosting sales of British food and drink – not just during the promotional fortnight but all year round.

To be launched on 24 Sept, the competition will seek out 12 regional winners from which an overall national winner will be announced at a reception at the Houses of Parliament early next year.

“We are launching this competition to both to celebrate diversity and to support local enterprise,” said CA chief executive Simon Hart.
