Farmers’ mart scoops hotel deal

THE Scottish farmers auction mart at Dingwall, Easter Ross, has signed a deal worth millions of pounds with the Macdonalds Hotel chain for the purchase of beef, lamb and pork.

Macdonalds has over 50 hotels and has entered a sole supply contract with meat wholesaler Donald Russell of Inverurie.
