Four firms merge

FOUR East Anglia-based farm supply companies have joined together to increase their buying power.

The group, to be known as Saturn Agriculture, includes Framlingham Farmers, Cambridge Farmers, West Essex Farmers and Dengie Crops.

Each of the four businesses will retain their identity. Collectively, Saturn will have a £95m turnover and represents members farming 202,400ha (500,000 acres).
