PEOPLE claiming income-related benefits will be eligible for 10m cans of beef, junior farm minister Jeff Rooker has announced. The cans of stewed steak, made of intervention beef, will be available to local authorities, charitable and other non-profit organisations, as part of the EUs surplus food scheme.
