FUW/BT deal will cut phone bills

THE Farmers Union of Wales has negotiated a deal with BT that will slash the cost of members landline and mobile call charges.

Wyn Lewis, the unions financial controller, claims the arrangement, which does not involve special equipment or the use of a prefix code, is unique. Call charges on landlines will be halved and members using BT Cellnet mobiles will get a discount based on the number signing up.

"This new deal follows one with EGNI (Wales) which can cut 22% of members electricity bills."
