Gamekeepers return to school

GAMEKEEPERS are returning to school in an attempt to improve their professional standing and to help to shed the rural mercenary image, reports The Scotsman.

The return to the classroom has been accompanied by a change in courses towards a curriculum more linked to wildlife and conservation management.

The paper reports from the three colleges in Scotland offering the courses and claims graduates of these courses have become much more in demand.
