GET READY FOR TILLAGE 2002

With arable margins under pressure,

minimising seed-bed establishment

costs has never been more important.

Where better to see cultivations kit at

work than at this years Tillage 2002

events in Cambridgeshire and Fife?

FOR all arable farms, whether large or small, the two Tillage 2002 demos are events not to be missed. You can see equipment from virtually all the major manufacturers being put through its paces, compare models from rival makers and decide whats best for your farming or contracting business. There will also be dealers, merchants and advisory organisations on hand.

One of the main talking points will inevitably be minimal tillage. More and more manufacturers are offering equipment for establishing crops without the use of ploughing and many of the machines at the two events will never have been seen in action before.

And remember that Tillage 2002 is aimed at all arable farmers. So, while the acre-gobbling giants of the equipment world will be there, so will more modestly-proportioned kit.

Where and when does it happen?

There are two events, one at Manor Farm, Harlton, Cambs, on Thur, Sept 12.

The other is at Wester Cash Farm, Strathmiglo, Cupar, Fife on Tue, Oct 8.

Both events are open from 8am to 3pm. Cost is £10/car or £5 single occupancy.

Theres a chance to win a Honda ATV at the show too. Just fill in the form on the BASF stand.
