Grain market update
Tuesdays trading – 2 September 1997
THE market felt weaker all day, with UK prices uncompetitive against alternative origins, and therefore no export possibilities. Spot demand via shorts, plus quality requirements, seem to be the main activity, and this is holding the market together for the time being.
