LIMOUSIN suckler heifers are now available for export from France through marketing agents Interlim.

It says heifers will be offered ready to bull from 12 to 24 months and covered by a passport document giving parentage and traceability details for commercial use. Heifers also come assured from TB-, brucellosis- and EBL-free herds and warranted fertile.

Prices ex-Limoges are about £700 for 12-15 month heifers and £900 for 18-22 month animals. Transport is expected to average £75 a head for full loads to Britain. Details on (01980-621334).
