Knee-jerk bans harm the industry

IS it time to ban swill?

Of cause not, and creating ideas like this only does the industry more harm than good.

Im sick and tired of everyone who is indirectly associated with agriculture trying to ban everything we do as soon as something fails for the first time.

Why dont these people try and come up with constructive ways to improve and modify the practices so that the problem doesnt occur again?

Take live exports for example; we can transport sheep for John OGroats to Lands End and no-one cares, but as
soon as they go on a ferry there is hell to pay.

Why dont these people campaign for improved conditions on the trucks instaed of going for outright bans?
