Latest KT handler is a more comfy ride

MERLOS latest KT series telehandler has now been launched.

Designed to replace the current TurboFarmer models, apart from the P26.6 machines, the KT series feature a wider and more spacious cab which offers more glazing and a driver friendly environment, says Merlo.

To keep the operator more comfortable, there are three dashboard air vents – air con is optional – and a new heater is fitted under the seat.

Air is taken in from the highest point outside the cab frame to avoid excess dirt and heat being admitted before the filters, says Merlo.

Further creature comforts comprise a cleaner look dash layout and smoother operation of the joystick.

A new five-element hydraulic control valve is designed to require less effort on the joystick, enabling a smoother and easier action.

The fifth element of the valve block provides a dedicated rear attachment service for models without sideshift.

Outside the cab, the diesel tank filler has been repositioned to provide easier filling, and sideshift models now use high clearance cast rear axles.

All eight models are fitted with two hydraulic fixings at the end of the boom, offering fixed double acting services.

Prices for the KT telehandlers are the same. &#42
