MAFF tightens security

THE ministry of agriculture has installed expensive anti-terrorist measures to counter the perceived threat from direction action by green groups, animal rights campaigners and anarchists.

Air-lock doors, bomb-proof glass and a direct line to Special Branch protection officers have been installed in its new office in London.
