MLCs sheep man

HEAD of sheep strategy at the Meat and Livestock Commission is to be David Croston, currently acting head of sheep exports. He joins Mick Sloyan, appointed in the summer as head of pig strategy, in reporting directly to MLC director general Colin Maclean.

Mr Crostons appointment follows the MLC strategic review earlier this year when it was decided to have heads of strategy for the pig, sheep, and cattle sectors.
