Mobile shed for organic poultry flocks

MEET organic chicken production standards with the Freeranger shed, specifically designed for organic free-range table bird production, says manufacturer ARM.

Mounted on metal skids, the shed is mobile and available with or without a floor. It measures 5.6m x 9.6m (18ft 6in x 31ft 6in) and holds 500 birds, says the company. It is said to have high standards of insulation and is made from hygienic materials which help to prevent build-up of disease-causing organisms. Venti-lation is manually controlled using ridge and side inlets.
