Monitor checks several buildings

WITH the facility for up to 100 detector units, farmers can simultaneously protect several buildings using a radio receiver alarm.

In addition to warning against intruders, the ATL Monitor Multiple is also capable of detecting smoke, gas or frost (below 4C (39F)). Hence the system has a role in preventing frozen pipes and damage to vulnerable crops.

Operated from battery or mains, there is a constant beat between detectors and receiver, which can be sited up to a mile apart. Price is from about £600 (01667-455224).
