Morgan Tsvangirai, Zimbabwes opposition leader, has warned that his party can no longer ignore the escalating violence in the country.
His statement came as two more people were beaten to death. The Movement for Democratic Change claims 10 of its members have now been killed.
The Daily Telegraph reports that British foreign secretary Robin Cook will offer 36 million for land reform in Zimbabwe in a bid to allay the crisis.
