New beet aphicide

SUGAR beet growers will have access to a new systemic aphicide this season. Cyanamids Aztec (triazamate), available in France since 1993, is said to be selective and highly effective, killing aphids without harming beneficial insects such as ladybirds. It also has an effect on some resistant aphids.n
