Not-so-Glorious Twelfth?

TODAY promises to be a quiet Glorious Twelfth, according to The Times Diary.

An early spring caused the grouse to breed too soon and bad weather since has seen off many of the young. But Dick Playfair, spokesman for the Scottish Landowners Federation told The Independent he was optimistic it would be a good season.
