Nutrient warning

HEAVY rainfall this winter could have leached trace elements out of the rooting zone, warns Omex Agriculture. Combined with early spring growth that could lead to problems, particularly with manganese and transient phosphate deficiency. It urges growers to use a sap test now to check the nutritional status of the growing crop. Nutrient feeds can then be tailored accordingly.
