Pig outgoers claim
A FORMER pig farmer is campaigning for a judicial review of the Pig Outgoers Scheme after narrowly missing out on compensation.
Welsh producer Chris Thomas claims she lost £60,100 compensation because her sealed bid was 90p a sow over the £114 a sow target.
"The schemes small-print indicates that it was run incorrectly," she said. "With the financial support of the NFU, a barristers opinion is being sought on instigating class action to bring about a judicial review." *
