Protective lenses put focus on health
DAMAGE to health does not always manifest itself in blood, guts and gore.
Eye injury, for example, can occur over a long period without the sufferer even being aware of it. Take when working around, but not actually with, the farm welder; the welder operator is normally protected by a specialist mask, while by-standers are not.
So, people repairing other machines in the workshop are, in fact, probably more at risk from infra-red light than the welder himself.
Designed to protect these peripheral workers, Bilsom Internationals Copper PC lenses are suited to a wide range of uses, both indoors and outdoors, and enable the wearer to see so he can carry on working. Lens price is £7.20 a pair
