THE Queen will visit the Royal Show next week as part of her Golden Jubilee Tour – the first time she has attended the event since her Silver Jubilee in 1977.
Organisers will launch a major national campaign, Towards Tomorrows Countryside at this years show which runs from July1-4, at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire. A rural exhibition will highlight key countryside issues including farming and rural businesses. *

The exhibition will also show how the issues are being addressed by bringing together a range of "real life" initiatives from around the country. It is hoped that these champions of rural development will provide a source of inspiration for visitors who want to help rebuild the countryside after years of crisis.
