Right to roam poll supports legislation bid

MOST voters want the government to press ahead with legislation giving the right to roam over the countryside, according to an NOP opinion poll conducted on behalf of the Ramblers Association.

Environment minister Michael Meacher said he would take account of the survey findings. &#42
