Right wrapping combination

LELY is now marketing the Göweil round bale wrapper combination – a unit which can be used in tandem with most round balers available in the UK. The G-5040 Kombi, says Lely, can wrap bales of 90cm to 160cm diameter using a double wrapping arm.

Conventional round balers are mounted into the tandem axle frame incorporating the wrapping unit and linking parts are available to allow another baler type to be fitted when the first needs replacing.

Once wrapped, bales are lowered to the ground by a progressively adjusted speed control unit. Control of the wrapping pro-cess and tailgate is done electronically and an in-cab console monitors all operations.n
