Russian crisis could damage UK farm prices
THE Russian financial crisis is expected to have a knock-on effect on UK farm prices, according to a report in The Times.
John German of Cluttons Daniel Smith estimates that Russia takes up to 40% of the European beef market.
A reduction in that demand would see farm prices fall, he said.
