Russians accused over sheep-worrying

SHEEP farmers are demanding that the Russian embassy in London should destroy two guard dogs at its country retreat, which have been accused of savaging local sheep.

More than 50 sheep have been killed in two attacks on land bordering the diplomats mansion on the Kent and Sussex border near Lamberhurst.

Two alsatians used to guard the house, set in 30 acres of fields and woodland, are the prime suspects.

Police are unable to act because the dogs are Russian property and are kept on what is effectively Russian soil.
