Self-maintenance a plus with Smallholders 4WD

EVESHAM-BASED Smallholder Tractor Company has added a 38hp four-wheel drive model to its range.

The company says the ST2030s ease of operation and unsophisticated electronic systems gives the model the added value of self maintenance still required by many involved in the agricultural industry.

Power is provided by a 3-cylinder water-cooled Lombardini engine driving through a 12 x 12 mechanical transmission complete with shuttle. A creeper box can be opted for.

Other specification details include a 540/1000 rpm pto and a hydraulic linkage with a rated 1000kg capacity. Linkage operation includes a position/draft control system.

Shod on 7.5L 15 tyres on the front and 12.4 x 20 on the rear, the ST2030 has a ground clearance of 32cm and a turning circle of 3m. Tractor weight is 1.3t.

Smallholder is keen to point out the new tractors modern styling, suspension seat and the easy to use controls and adds that a safety cab and a front end loader will be available shortly. Price of the ST2030 starts at £7750. &#42
