Stairhavens best join Coppside herd

THE two highest bids were 2500gns and 2000gns at the dispersal of Newton Stewart breeder John Flemings Stairhaven Holstein Friesian herd.

Both bids came from Messrs Jackson, Guillyhill, Dumfriesshire, who run the Coppside herd.

Stairhaven Grand Emprix, a May calved heifer by Grand, attracted the top call ahead of the second calver Stairhaven Promise Heather, bred from the famous Grantchester Heather family.
