A POSSIBLE link is being investigated between the deaths of two victims of human form of BSE who lived within 250 yards of each other.
The Ananova website says experts are expected to confirm that Paul Dickens, 28, of Adswood, Stockport, died of variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease two weeks ago.
In April Steven Lunt, 34, also of Adswood, died of the same disease.
Stockport Health Authority has launched a preliminary investigation and experts will travel to the area once Mr Dickenss case is confirmed.
