The end of the year or the end of an era?
SCOTTISH rural affairs
minister Ross Finnie is trying to reassure the farming
population that things will improve, that farmers will
survive, etc.
Why do the New Labour/Liberal government not see that action
NOW is what is required?
Why do they not look to other main issues connected with
rural living?
For instance, the horrendously high fuel tax which affects
EVERYONE who has no option but to pay through the nose to
get from A to B?
Public transport? Its a joke.
Its Euro this and that – be in line with Europe etc.
OK fair enough, lets make the petrol and diesel the same as
Europe.
We can barely afford to eat, let alone sit and reflect our
situations over a small dram! (which can also be bought more
cheaply in Europe)
