Tough trough for the larger herd

A CIRCULAR 2046-litre (450gal) capacity drinking trough, aimed at larger beef and dairy herds, has been launched by JFC.

Manufactured from UV stabilised medium density polyethylene, the JFC DT450 is durable, does not rust or rot and is frost resistant down to -40C, says the company.

Complete with ball valve and drain-plug, the trough costs £335. But for January 2001, an introductory price of £250 is available. Other troughs in the range include 818-litre (180gal), 1137-litre (250gal) and 1591-litre (350gal) capacities. (01691-659226, fax 01691-659344)
