Tractors still declining

TRACTOR registrations for October continued in the same manner as in previous months.

According to the Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA), the number of registrations totalled some 603 units – 38.6% below that of October last year.

This brings the year to date figure to 8767, which is 37.1% down.

With just November and Decembers figures to be added, it looks that the 10,000 barrier will be hard to cross despite a slight easing in the strength of the pound and recently announced interest cuts.
