Tree bracer stops branch forks splitting

FUJIKURA Europe has developed a tree bracing system designed to reduce the risk of forked branches from splitting.

Using webbing slings wrapped around opposing branches and linked via braided rope, the system provides a gentle halt to any excessive movement of branches. Its webbing will brace a stress load of up to 10t, claims the manufacturer.

Branch diameters from 15cm to 55cm (6-21in) can be accomm-odated – the webbing kit costs from £64.10 (01373-825582).
