Look familiar, but not quite in this format? Spotted at Italys Eima show – an event which displays some of the worlds most modern agricultural machinery – this 60s-developed, powered rake was still capturing the attention of many hundreds of visitors. Built by Ripossi Angelo & Gianluigi of Casorate Primo, power is supplied by either a single cylinder petrol engine or a two-cylinder diesel. The company reports sales approaching 100 units a year.

UKHQ for new sprayer firm

A NEW sprayer company has arrived in the UK – Gambetti Barre UK which will have its headquarters at Birdlip, Glos, and a northern office at Duns, Berwickshire.

Head of the new company is Chris Kelland who has been involved with Gambetti Barre products for some years – the sprayers have been sold in the UK under Kelland and Cleveland badges with main activity concerning the boom supply business.

Gambettis sprayer range – including tractor-mounted, trailed and self-propelled models – is to be marketed through a new dealer network which Mr Kelland is forming.
