Vaccine costs threaten livestock
FARMERS are exposing their livestock to the threat of disease by refusing to pay for vaccines because of the costs, reports The Times.
It says farmers have been abandoning routine preventative medicine because of their greatly reduced incomes in the current farming crisis.
For their part, vets say farmers attempting to avoid paying veterinary bills are now threatening the viability of their practices.
