Visor keeps out pollen particles
ALLERGY sufferers are offered a high level of protection against pollen without the restrictions of a face mask by Bradwests Aircap, it is claimed .
Designed around a baseball-type cap, the Aircap uses a face visor and filtration system – the latter claimed to remove 99% of particles greater than one micron in size.
Key to the filters performance is a battery powered motor in the cap, which draws ambient air into the cap, via the filter. Power is via three C-type cells in a battery pack, which can be carried in a belt clip or pocket.
Weight of the cap is said to be 220g. It is priced at £98.50. (01628-660908).
