WHETHER its checking the sheep, putting on slug pellets or simply taking the tractor drivers lunch out to him, no-one would deny that an ATV is one of the most useful bits of kit you can own on the farm. Equally, there are few pieces of equipment in this world guaranteed to raise the spirits of the average child like a mini-ATV.

With that in mind, farmers weekly has teamed up with Suzuki GB to offer you the best of both worlds for our Christmas competition. The first prize is a Quadmaster 500, while two LT50 Quad Runners are offered as second prizes.

As last week. just read the text on this page, answer the single question and keep it in a safe place. Then look out for the coupon in the Dec 29 issue. Theres a chance in that issue to answer all three questions and fill in the coupon. Who knows, you or your children could soon have a shiny new ATV in the shed!

Suzuki Quadmaster 500

The 493cc Quadmaster 500 was launched in the summer and the first deliveries started this autumn. The biggest in Suzukis UK range, it offers the benefits of automatic transmission and selectable two and four wheel drive.

Features include an efficient engine braking mechanism, torque-sensing limited-slip front differential, independent front and Quadlink rear suspension, dual hydraulic front disc brakes, liquid-cooled engine, skid plate protection and large mudguards with anti-splash side extensions.

Ground clearance is 235mm (9in) and the combined carrying capacity of the front and rear racks is 90kg (198lb). List price is £6344 inc VAT.

Suzuki LT50 Quad Runner.

Learning to ride the LT50 is simplicity itself. It has a 49cc engine with single speed transmission and automatic clutch, Safety features include two stage speed control, a safety brake which must be engaged before starting, ignition cut-out and tether for adult control.

The LT50 is suitable for children aged 6 and over. List price is £955 inc VAT.
