Have your say on the future of Crop Protection Management Plans

The NFU is urging farmers and agronomists to have their say on the future of Crop Protection Management Plans (CPMP) by taking part in an online survey.
The confidential survey, which runs throughout October, is designed to make sure CPMPs remain relevant and easy to use, NFU vice president Paul Temple explained.
“CPMP’s are now part of mainstream farm management but after four years it’s time to review their effectiveness and consider how we can improve them.”
Over 1.6 million hectares are covered by CPMPs every year and they form a key part of the Voluntary Initiative’s annual targets. “It’s clear from the thousands of CPMP returns we receive from across the UK that the farming industry takes pesticide stewardship very seriously,” Mr Temple added.
