PESTICIDE USERS now have access to the latest product information after the publication of a revised pesticide guide.

The UK Pesticide Guide 2005 provides farmers, advisors, spray operators and others using pesticides with information on over 1,150 products and around 120 adjuvants, said the BCPC*.

“For 2005 we have included the new environmental classifications under the Dangerous Preparations Directive, which became applicable to pesticides in July 2004,” said editor, Dick Whitehead.

Any new developments or products throughout the year will be shown at www.ukpesticideguide.co.uk, he said.

Pesticide-related weblinks, plus background information on legislation, and resistance management is also available on the electronic version of the guide, he noted.

The guide is available as a book (£35) or CD-ROM (£58.69) and can be ordered online from www.bcpc.org/bookshop.
