Cereals 2010: Goose-neck sprayer from GM-R

Adapted from one of GM-R’s standard trailed sprayers, the Eazi-Trac uses a novel goose-neck arrangement to connect to the back of a JCB Fastrac.

A ball-and-spoon hitch on the rear load-deck of the tractor provides a three-dimensional pivot point and manoeuverability is reckoned to be second-to-none thanks to the rig’s three steering axles. Weight distribution is also reckoned to be optimised, with each axle carrying 4t when the sprayer is fully loaded.

This 3400-litre model with 30m bi-fold booms costs ÂŁ47,000 – about ÂŁ5000 more than a standard trailed machine.
