Bugs go under the spotlight

BUGS are the focus for the Farming and Wildlife Action Groups national farm walk week this year.

Scheduled to run from May 29 to Jun 6, farmers and the general public are invited to find out about the good, the bad, and the ugly of farmland beetle and other invertebrate populations.

"The week is a great opportunity for farmers to pick up practical tips on increasing the beneficial insect population on their own farms," says Carole Ferguson of Bayer, organising partners of the event.
