Worldwide organic market growing

THE market for organically produced food is continuing to expand, according to the United Nations Food and Agricultural Organisation.

Organic agriculture represents 10% of the food system in Austria and almost 8% in Switzerland, while the sector is growing by more than 20% a year in the USA, France, Japan and Singapore.

The Chinese market is also on the increase.
